📖 About This Game

Step into history and alter fate on April 14th, 1865. Will you foil John Wilkes Booth's treacherous plans, or will President Lincoln's life be tragically cut short? Embark on a thrilling roll-and-write spy adventure, armed only with a marker and a die. As a double agent, your mission is clear: infiltrate Booth's nefarious circle of conspirators and prevent the assassination of President Lincoln. To do that you'll need to make contact at a safe house, perform missions to prove yourself and then finally rendezvous with Booth. Utilize your die not just for missions, but also to traverse the streets of historic Washington, D.C. With each roll, chart your course and mark your progress. Beware - every second visit to the same building draws unwanted attention. Roll the die to unveil the consequences: lost time, police apprehensions, or suspicions from Booth's crew. Plot your paths carefully: avoid impediments, seek rerolls and steal treasures to aid your mission. Adapt if your cover is compromised, transitioning to a solo pursuit of Booth. Will you outmaneuver obstacles and seize the opportunity to rewrite history, or will Booth's machinations succeed? —description from the designer
