📖 About This Game
Cosmil is a French strategy game between 2 players from Earth and Mars. The checkered board is divided into 5 zones being Earth and Earths field of attraction, the cosmos, Mars and its field of attraction. Players have 3 types of playing pieces with a value; being one Rocket, value 1 point. Six Bip-Bips, value 1 point and Eighteen Energy forces, valued at 2 points.
Play has some similarity to checkers in that some pieces diagonally move and jump opposing pieces of the same value. But pieces movement is horizontal or vertical to jump pieces of a different value. Some pieces have restricted movement depending what zone they are in. Example, Bip Bip can move back or forward in the cosmos but only forward in the Field of planetary attraction.
There are 3 possibilities to win the game.
That a players rocket lands on the opposing players planet.
An opposing rocket is destroyed on ground or captured in flight
That an opposing rocket is blocked, without the possibility of being cleared to move.
