Dream City

Dream City is a multiplayer strategy game. Players will become residents and go through the different historical events of the Hong Kong community. When facing the reconstruction and demolition of the community, players will decide how to develop the "ideal community." To become a winner, you have to ponder how to preserve valuable cultural environment, taking into account the affected stakeholders, including vulnerable groups who are often neglected in the mainstream economy. Through the game, players can easily recognized community development, to explore issues of poverty, social development can rethink how the interests of justice. Game in conjunction with the school curriculum (Liberal Studies, Life and Social Studies), leadership training activities, life education topics, moral and civic education and career planning, etc., It is recommended to teachers, social workers, parents and other educators. 《你想社區Dream City》是一款多人策略版圖遊戲教材。玩家成為居民，經歷香港社區發生的大小事件，面對重建、清拆，玩家將決定如何發展「理想社區」。要成為真正的大贏家，你必須深思如何保留有價值的文化和事物，同時兼顧受影響的持分者，包括往往在主流經濟發展下備受忽略的弱勢社群。 透過遊戲，玩家可以足不出戶，輕輕鬆鬆認識社區發展，探討貧窮議題，重新思考社會發展如何能合乎公義。遊戲同時配合學校課程(通識科、生活與社會科)、領袖培訓活動、生命教育課題、德育及公民教育與生涯規劃等，是老師、社工、家長及其他教育工作者的好幫手。
