Dream State: A Dark and Troubling Board Game

Dream State is a card-and-dice game in which the players are challenged to advance a Dream Marker through 3 dream states. As the dream progresses, players may (or may not) benefit from recurring dreams, stimuli from the physical world, and the horrors locked within their minds. Once the game board is setup, the goal is for the player(s) to make it through all 3 Dream States to the End icon on the board; this represents the player awakening before dying in the dream. Players will spend their turn doing the following: 1. Moving the Marker 1 Eye-con on the game board. 2. Drawing a Dream Flow card, resolving it immediately, then discarding the card into the Recurring Dream deck. 3. Draw a Stimuli Card and resolve it immediately IF one of the following is occurs: 3a. The Marker has just entered a new Dream Level OR 3b. The Marker has just landed on a 3 OR 3c. A card has prompted the Dreamer to do so. The game includes 1 double-sided game board, 2 dream markers, 42 dream-flow cards, 12 stimuli cards, and 2 threshold dice.
