In this book find all the rules you need to play historical battles with miniature armies from the Vietnam War. The game is turn-based and requires strategy and tactics. Each company in the game has a headquarter, combat and weapons platoons as well as of course also support. In the book you find the standard rules as well as special rules, point values and much more clearly presented. The rules are suitable for the usual standards at which historical tabletop games are played: Scale 1/100, 1/72 or 1/56. The Vietnam War (called the “American War” in Vietnam) lasted from 1965 – 1975. Starting in 1964, the Gulf of Tonkin incident escalated U.S. military involvement. In 1965, the U.S. send first troops to Vietnam: On March 8, 1965, 3,800 U.S. Marines landed at Da Nang in South Vietnam to support the ARVN Troops. The Paris Peace Accords of January 27, 1973 led to U.S withdrawal; on March, 29, 1973 the last GI left South Vietnam. For the U.S. Vietnam War was over, but it still raged on until 1975: The Fall of Saigon in 1975 marks the end of the Vietnam War with the reunification of Vietnam under communist rule.
