📖 About This Game
Grunt is a warfare card game using a board to depict 6 combat areas where Grunts (infantry) engage in combat.
The 6 combat areas depicted on the board (Town, Woods, Ruins, Hills, Swamp, and Fields) affect combat potential dependng on equipment and attack types used. Players take turn drawing and playing cards. Types of cards are: Black (Action) cards, Red (Explosives) cards, Green (Strike) cards, Orange (Equipment) cards, and Blue (Special Defense) cards.
Black Action or Green Strike cards are played hidden and take effect only on the next turn. This is done to simulate the time it takes to perform combat manoeuvres. Orange Equipment and Red Explosives cards must be played immediately when drawn. Blue Special Defense cards can be played at any time.
Play proceeds until resources (the main deck of cards) have been exhausted. The player with the most victory points is the winner.
