From the Web site: The second volume in the Hammer's Slammers game system is here! Hammer's Anvils contains rule enhancements to the basic system in Handbook 1, and optional rules like: Separate Detachments (for multi-detachment forces); The Whites of Their Eyes (range bands); The Big Guns (on- and off-table artillery); Mounting Chaos (loss of TU's and what it does to leadership); Overkill (why big guns do more damage); Courage Under Fire (varying suppression on infantry, based on quality); and A Leader of Men (using leadership to remove suppression). Included are rules for: Mortars and MLRS systems, mines and countermeasures, spotting with snipers, top and bottom vehicle defensive arcs, and what happens if an APC "brews up," plus enhanced weapon charts, Tactical Unit Points Costs, and examples of platoon sized detachments. Finally, there are two appendices (names and numbers of Slammers vehicles and a Time-line for the Slammers universe) plus 10 pages of descriptions of the colour plates, and errata for the first volume.
