📖 About This Game

Two teams of 4 medieval warriors fight a skirmish on a hex-grid map. The 4 warriors of a team are equiped by : bow + sword axe + sword sword + shield pique + shield 4 red hexes are set on the map at the beginning : they block movement and line of sight, and 4 blue hexes : they block movement only. Movement is free (1 or 2 hexes), but attacks and defenses are driven by cards that you should play on warriors equiped with the weapon or shield shown on the card. If not, the card is ignored (you can bluff if you don't have the good cards in hand or want to keep them for later). There are cards for dodging too. The bow attacks up to 3 hexes, for the other 3 weapons you must be adjacent. Warriors are oriented towards a side of the hex, so the 3 front and the 3 back hexes are important for attacks and defenses. 12 rounds where the first player is determined by a deck of initiative cards. The players have the same 12 combat cards in hand at the beginning. A round : draw an initiative card to see who are 1st and 2nd players players draw a combat card (sword, pike, axe, bow, shield or dodge) movement phase of 1st player : move 0-4 warriors movement phase of 2nd player : move 0-4 warriors not adjacent to enemies at the beginning attack phase of 1st player : orientation, distance and line of sight count attack phase of 2nd player : idem After 12 rounds you score : 10 VP for each of your warriors still alive 20 VP if you have one warrior on your opponent's hex base 1 VP for each offensive combat card in hand
