Across eight rounds, players act as lapidarists carefully shaping their gemstones by cutting facets, applying polish, and using specialized tools. Each decision carries weight — cut too deeply and your gem loses value, but cut with precision and timing and you’ll craft a masterpiece worthy of legend. How It Plays Buy Phase: Players draft tools such as Dops, Adhesives, and specialized equipment, balancing risk and reward. Cut Phase: Combine your tools to remove gem layers, place polish tiles for protection, or even cut into an opponent’s gemstone. Every cut earns coins, which fuel future purchases. Scoring: At game’s end, points are awarded based on the state of each facet, polish tiles, Index Gears, and leftover coins. A perfectly managed gemstone will gleam brighter than the rest.
