Oriental Chess

In this abstract strategy game, each player has 8 identical pieces. They move like rooks, but can't jump over any pieces or land on pieces. Instead, you can capture opponent's pieces either by inclusion of a string or by connecting two strings on a line. You win if you reduce your opponent to at most one piece, unless they can reduce you to at most one piece in their very next turn.
