📖 About This Game
Mischievous fox Kitsunedon and tanuki Tanukyun are having a tile-placing duel, but they have a trick up their sleeves. PoCon! plays similarly to Othello, but with a tricky twist, each player has four trap tiles which are the same on both sides!
On a turn you place one of your tile, flipping all opposing tiles that you enclose. When flipping, you always flip tiles starting in a line starting from the tile just placed. However, if you flip over a double-sided trap tile, you immediately end your turn before any more tiles are flipped over (if your move cause two lines, you choose which line to flip first).
Once all tiles are placed, the tiles are counted up, and the first place receives 3 extra points. The person with the higher score wins!
There are two rule sets included. In Wai-Wai mode your tiles are shuffled, so you don't know which ones are trap tiles. In Trick mode you can strategically plan where to play your trap tile. Both modes can also be played with a 4 player team mode.
