Sacra Maioritas

In Sacra Maioritas, 2–4 players compete for the Throne of Heaven through open votes of obedience and betrayal. Each round, the leading player declares a vote for a faction by playing a card; others must follow suit if able, or risk defying the ceremony. Majorities bring influence, while sudden Coups (Schisms) reward bold defiance and shift the balance of power. Players pursue hidden Oaths that guide their play style and score at the game’s end, while a global Edict shapes divine favor for that session. Elegant, tense, and richly atmospheric, Sacra Maioritas transforms simple trick-taking into a ceremonial struggle of politics, devotion, and pride.
