Schlock!

Schlock! is a resource and word game in which players assume the role of B-movie makers during the golden age of Hollywood, racing to create outrageous low-budget films for release to hungry audiences. The game round consists of two phases. During the Backlot phase, players buy word and picture tiles and dice agents from the planning board, to build their movie titles and raise Cash. During the Box Office phase, players spend cash to attract Audiences, trigger powerful card effects, release their movies to theatres for Fame and Cash, and claim Awards. When a player releases their third movie, the end of the game is triggered. The round is completed and other players complete their remaining movies. The player with the most Fame wins. —description from the publisher
