📖 About This Game

The four different "ferry timetables" are thoroughly shuffled and placed face down on the table. The topmost timetable is then placed on the lighthouse (clearly visible to all players). After the enclosed ferry (see ferry map) has been placed at port "1" according to the color shown there, and each player has placed their pieces in the starting position corresponding to their color, the game can begin. Now, everyone takes turns rolling the dice. They first turn over the timer located at the lighthouse and simultaneously make their first roll. They then move one of their pieces toward the ferry by the number rolled. Players take turns rolling the die, creating a race between the individual pieces to the ferry. Once the timer runs out, the ferry will immediately depart, even if a player is still on their turn, and head for the next port indicated on the ferry board. If a player believes they can no longer get their piece to the ferry at port "1" within the current time limit, they should wisely try to immediately move to the next indicated port and wait for the ferry there. However, they may also be "thrown out" by an approaching opponent while waiting. If a player manages to get a piece onto the ferry, they may "deposit" it in the lighthouse, i.e., the piece is thrown into the top of the lighthouse. The first player to deposit all of their pieces in the lighthouse is the winner. In addition to the large lake ferry, there are two small passenger express ferries on the game board that can be used to quickly cross the lake. One can cross the lake lengthwise from point 3 to 2 (or vice versa) and one can cross the lake crosswise from point 6 to 6. —user summary
