Space Battles: 2218

Space Battles: 2218 is a 1-2 player tactical skirmish wargame depicting futuristic spaceship warfare. The game features 6 spaceship classes, 4 types of spaceship damage, and 5 types of battles. Campaigns consist of either 5 or 10 random linked skirmish battles. For solitaire players, the game offers an advanced enemy bot opponent which makes calculated decisions based on its current situation. Features such as line of sight, crew skill points, missile and laser cannon weapons, asteroid fields, planets, jump gates, and space stations are also included. Features include: 3 Spaceship Fleets: Blue, Yellow, and Alien. 6 Spaceship Classes: Cosmos, Explorer, Galaxy, Nebula, Pulsar, and Scout. 4 types of Spaceship Damage: Engines, Hull Armor, Shields, and Systems. 5 Types of Battles: Meeting Engagement, Planet Attack, Planet Defense, Space Station Attack, and Space Station Defense. 10 different enemy bot actions will keep players on their toes. Adjustable difficulty based on player's skill level. Solitaire or 2 players. 5 minute game setup and breakdown times. Medium size table recommended. Total campaign play time is approximately 2.5-5+ hours (depending on campaign length chosen). Individual battles can last between 15-45 minutes.
