📖 About This Game
ã¹ãã¼ã¹ã¬ã¼ã¹ã»ããã (SPACERACE-BOTS) is a roll & move robot fighting game from Japan.
Each player controls a fighting bot and sends it around the track to attack the opponents and collect prize money. The first player to reach 1 million Yen is the winner. Players collect three kinds of cards, Arms, Legs, Attack, and combine these to build a better bot.
The game has a short square track and the ability to attack is affected by the relative position on the track. So if the enemy bot is on the same side of the track as the attacker, it is easier to attack. Then the left or right side and finally the far side is hardest to attack.
Further, the more times a bot circles the track, not only does the prize money rise but it also multiplies. So by making three laps before a fight, a player can win triple money.
The winner of each fight steals money from the enemy, but the game includes many elements to reverse fortunes. So the designer advocates attacking quickly and often and not waiting for better equipment to turn up.
