Successió

Successió (Succession) is a Storytelling game consisting of 55 cards, written and designed by Roman Aixendri, in which 3 to 8 players take on the role of members of a Royal Council. As members of the court, you must decide who among you will inherit the throne. The game's original setting places the story in a medieval (fantastic or realistic) environment, but you can choose to play in any other historical period if you prefer. The game is designed to be easy to play, with simple rules that encourage the use of imagination, argumentative rigor, active listening, and reflection on Shakespearean-style moral dilemmas. HOW TO PLAY? Each player, on their turn, draws a card from the deck, reads it aloud, and answers the question it poses. The other players may then ask up to two additional related questions, which the player must respond to. The turn then passes to the next player, who follows the same process. Each player will continue drawing cards and answering questions until the resolution card appears. When the resolution card is drawn, all players must decide who they choose as the new king or queen, based on the quality of their arguments and the rigor of their responses. Com a membres de la Cort haureu de decidir qui d’entre vosaltres heretarà el tron. L’ambientació original del joc situa la ficció en un entorn medieval (fantàstic o realista), però si ho preferiu podeu jugar-lo en qualsevol altra època. El joc està pensat per ser fàcil de jugar, amb unes regles senzilles que promouen l’ús de la imaginació, el rigor argumentatiu, l’escolta activa i la reflexió davant dilemes morals de caràcter shakespearià. COM ES JUGA? Cada jugador/a, durant el seu torn, agafa una carta de la baralla, la llegeix en veu alta i respon a la pregunta que aquesta li planteja. La resta de persones, en acabat, li poden fer fins a dues preguntes més relacionades amb el tema que el jugador haurà de respondre. En acabat, es passa al següent jugador que haurà de procedir de la mateixa manera. Cada persona anirà agafant cartes i responent preguntes fins que surti la carta de resolució. Quan aparegui la carta de resolució tots els jugadors hauran de decidir a qui trien com a nou rei o reina (basant-se en la qualitat dels seus arguments i rigor de les seves respostes). El jugador que rep més vots és anomenat monarca.
