The Grinchmas Journey Board Game: How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Follow the magic of Christmas and journey to Who-ville! Help the disgruntled Grinch and his friends as you travel towards the music and cheer of the holidays. Be ready to compete for presents as you travel across the land. Use all your cunning and skills as you steal gifts and disrupt the festivities. Who will be the first one to reach Who-ville and learn the true meaning of Christmas? Tis the season to be jolly and make sure you are not left out in the cold! Join The Grinch, Max and Cindy-Lou Who in their journey to Who-ville. Adventure awaits jam-packed with your favorite schemes and escapades of the green grump! HOW TO PLAY: PLAYING THE GAME Active player rolls the die and moves their Character Piece according to the roll. Game board actions are played out, whether it be moving up or down Ladders, picking up a Grinch Card or swapping character placement. (When you land on a Grinch Space, pick up a Grinch Card and follow the instructions.) In the event the active player lands on a square that another player is occupying, they have been entered into a Grinch-Off. GRINCH-OFF GAME RULES A Grinch-Off requires both affected players to roll the die. The highest roll determines the winner and the losing player is sent backwards on the gameboard the difference between the rolls. For example, if the Cindy player rolls a 7 and the Max player rolls a 4, the Cindy player is sent backwards 3 squares. If that space is again occupied, another Grinch-Off will take place between those players. Please Note: A Grinch-Off only takes place after all board actions have been played out and the active player has reached their final destination of that round. For example, if the player lands on an occupied square that also has a Ladder, the player must first move up or down the Ladder; therefore, they may no longer be occupying the same space. Board actions don't apply after a Grinch-Off round and the losing player has been sent back. FINISHING THE GAME In order to determine the winner, the first 2 players to reach the Finish square on the game board compete in a final Grinch-Off. This Grinch-Off will be the best 2 out of 3. Each player will take turns rolling the die: the highest roll wins the round. Any ties go to the first player to reach the Finish Square.
