Tsundoku

User summary In Japanese, つんどく (Tsundoku) refers to the act of piling up stacks of unread books. As the game title suggests, each player, in their turn, places a Book card from their hand either in their own area or another player's area, on top of the cards there, with the Star icons on the lower cards showing. However, you cannot score by merely piling up the Books. If you manage to pile up 3 Books with the same color and the same number of Star icons on them in a row, you can "read" those Books and score points matching the number of Star icons on them. In your turn, you can choose to 'place a Book card', 'sort the order of some Books in your pile', or 'play a special card (to apply its effect)'. At the end of the game, the player with the highest number of Star icons on the Books they've read, wins. The game includes artwork from public domain. Publisher's summary 「つんどく」とは、まだ読んでいない本を山のように積み上げていることをいいます。 ゲームタイトル表す通り、手番になったら手札から本のカード１枚を自分の場、もしくは他のプレイヤーの場に積み上げます。 しかし、ただ本を積み上げるだけでは得点になりません。 本を「同じ色かつ同じ星マークの数」で３つ以上つなげて置くことができたら、そのセットの本を「読む」ことで、星マークの数分の得点になります。 得点につなげるために、手番では「本のカード置く」代わりに、「自分のツンドクの山を並べ変える」か「スペシャルカード（いろんな効果のあるカード）使う」をすることができます。 ゲーム終了時に、一番「読んだ本の星マークの数」が多いプレイヤーがゲームに勝利します。
