With about fifty states, and as many armies, it would be impossible to draw up army lists for each African nation and there would be the risk of creating just copies. To avoid this problem, the armies have been divided into three generic groups: these categories are not rigid and represent only a general idea to which players can toy with and make changes at will, even through customization through the sets of specials rules provided in this supplement.
