Uprising

A 2-4 player cooperative strategy card game. This turn-based card game uses a series of abilities, scroll cards, suit powers, and teamwork to defeat the enemies who dwell within your castle. This game has a dark-fantasy theme that heavily relies on teamwork. If 1 player loses, the whole team loses. On your turn, you play a card or cards against the enemy. Each of the suits have abilities that allow you to block damage, draw cards, refill the draw pile from the discard pile, or do extra damage. You must work together, using the suit powers to keep everyone alive, and defeat all the enemies. After defeating each enemy, you get a scroll card that will aid the party in some way. Each player also receives a permanent ability at the start of the game, drawn at random. Following each players turn, the enemies deal damage to the players, which causes the players to discard cards from their hand. If any player cannot cover the enemy damage, the game is lost. You play until you defeat all enemies, or a player cannot support the damage from the enemy. —description from the designer
