In the Þingspilið (The Congress Game) card game players compete to get the most congressmen as possible. Players draw party leaders and start with 5 congressmen. Then they resolve issues, events and scandals (in a last in, first out order) to gain more congressmen. Wheeling and dealing is very much encouraged in this game.
