カエルの王国 (Kaeru no Oukoku)

カエルの王国 (Kaeru no Oukoku) means Realms of FROGS'. It is a territory occupation game for 2-4 players. Basically, this game is for two players, but there are several game modes which can be played with three or four players. During setup, tiles are placed to form an NxN square grid board. The board is divided into five sections which are painted in different colors. The board varies game by game depending on allocation of tiles. At the beginning of the game, each player has several stacks of their frogs outside of the board. Each turn, you may place one of your stacks from outside into any vacant space on the board, or move one of your stacks on the board orthogonally, leaving one frog on each square passed, until all frogs are unstacked or the stack cannot move any more. The game ends when no player can place or move stacks any more. For each section, check which player has the greater value of frogs.
