📖 About This Game

ダンジョンクリエイター (Dungeon Creator) is a co-operative game from Japan. Players work together to construct a dungeon with traps and treasures. Then they take turns to reveal the dungeon tile by tile. Their goal is to not discover their own treasure items until the very end, proving they are good dungeon creators. Players are civil servants, learning the onerous task of making dungeons for adventurers. With traps and bombs, monsters and magic items, and treasure to be discovered, these civil servants must work hard to craft the best dungeons. By attending college at the Dungeon Academic Laboratory (DAL), aspiring dungeon creators who want to take the national magic civil service exam hone their skills. In order to submit their summer assignments, the students collaborate with each other to create dungeons in order to find out how deeply they can hide treasures and how to confuse adventurers. In the first phase, players get 20 tiles including tiles with traps, stairs and treasures in their own colours. Players take turns to build up the dungeon as a whole by placing tiles face down in a grid pattern. In the second phase, each player takes turns turning up a tile to explore the dungeon. The player that can explore the most and be the last to turn up their own treasure is the winner, proving themselves best at design creation. user summary
